Our journey began right here in Modinagar in 1957. Founded by Parmatma Sharan Jain, Jain Shikanji started at a modest 4×4 paan counter near the local police station — a true family endeavour from the very beginning.

His wife, Late Smt. Shakuntala Jain, played a vital role by carefully grinding the spices and preparing the signature syrup each day. Their son, Satish Jain, balanced his regular job while working at the shop alongside his father — personally cutting lemons, washing glasses, and grinding the secret masala.

As our popularity grew, so did our vision. Satish Jain didn't just preserve the recipe — he gave it wings.
Satish Jain expanded the business by opening a new Jain Shikanji outlet in Kadrabad, bringing the beloved taste to a wider audience.
Recognising that shikanji was primarily a seasonal summer drink, Satish's wife Smt. Neelam Jain introduced the idea of serving hot paneer pakodas to ensure the business could serve customers year-round. This brilliant pairing quickly became a massive hit — giving the brand its most beloved identity.
Pushing the boundaries of customer comfort, Satish Jain opened the first air-conditioned restaurant in entire Delhi NCR, located in Kadrabad — a landmark achievement credited to the vision of Satish and Neelam Jain.
A massive leap forward — Jain Shikanji launched in convenient PET bottles, making the authentic taste of Modinagar available to homes across India.
Everyone wanted the special Masala. So Mr. Satish Kumar Jain did what every true custodian of a legacy does — he made it accessible. He packaged the magical masala and began selling it to loyal customers, bringing the taste of the highway to kitchens across the country.
Mr. Satish Jain took over the family business and built it into the popular name it is today. He didn't just preserve the recipe — he gave it wings. From a small roadside stall, Jain Shikanji grew into a brand loved across NCR and far beyond. Today, alongside the iconic shikanji, the brand also serves scrumptious pakodas that keep people coming back.
